Police arrested a primary school teacher Thursday evening when parents of students filed a complaint against him that he showed pornographic clips to kids on his mobile.Police Circle Pfficer (City) Anil Kumar Yadav said a lady teacher also was named in connection with the case and has been called in for questioning.Police said a case was registered against the male teacher under POSCO (the Protection of Children against Sexual Offences) Act, 2012.The mobile phone belonged to the woman teacher who was questioned at the Krishna Nagar police station in the presence of the principal Urmila Sharma of Takshila School. Reportedly, the woman teacher had deleted the clips.Children told police that the two teachers were with the device when two girls came up to them and saw them viewing the clip. They immediately informed others and soon the parents also came to know. While the man was locked up in a room by the students and the other teachers, the lady tutor managed to flee from the school. Girls of the fourth standard complained of attempts made by the male and female teacher to show them the pornographic clip.
