Around 100 AAP supporters were detained Monday for staging a protest outside Home Minister Rajnath Singh's residence here over inaction against the Uber cab company, whose driver was arrested for raping a 25-year-old woman.Those detained included four former Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) legislators.The AAP members gathered outside the home minister's residence around 7.50 a.m. and raised slogans against the government and Delhi Police for not taking proper action against the cab company. They also demanded that the government take measures to ensure the security of women in the national capital. Former AAP legislators Bandana Kumari (from Shalimar Bagh), Jarnail Singh (Tilak Nagar), Dinesh Mohaniya (Sangam Vihar) and Vishesh Ravi (Karol Bagh) were detained, along with 100 other supporters at the Parliament Street police station here.Atishi Marlena, who led the protest while speaking to IANS, said: 

"We want to ask the minister (Rajnath Singh) what steps he is taking for the security of women in Delhi.""After all, someone has to be held accountable and someone has to ensure that there is law and order," she added."At least 100 protesters have been detained for protesting outside the home minister's residence and have been taken to the police station," DCP Vijay Singh told IANS.Delhi Police Sunday evening arrested the 32-year-old Uber cab driver on the charge of raping a 25-year-old working woman in Delhi Friday night.The woman was raped inside the cab she had hired for returning home to north Delhi's Inderlok area from Gurgaon after completing her day-long office shift.The woman had hired the cab from Vasant Vihar in south Delhi.
