Bringing tiny historical hamlet Dhuddike on World Sports Map, the Shiromani Akali Dal-BJP government will be organising three matches here tomorrow. Paying a tribute to freedom fighter Lala Lajpat Rai on his motherland, three matches of Fifth Kabaddi World Cup 2014 would be played at historical Dhuddike village tomorrow, i.e. December 7, 2014. Out of these two matches would be of Men section while one of Women section. State Agriculture Minister Mr Tota Singh would be the chief guest of these matches.
This would be the second time after 2011 that Dhuddike would be hosting Kabaddi World Cup matches. At that time Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev had visited the ground and conducted a raid against the England Kabaddi team.The first match of Men section would be played between Pool "A" would be played between Australia and Spain, while the second match would be played between pool "A" of the women section between India and USA and the third match between of men section Pool "A" teams between Iran and USA.Eminent Punjabi singer Mr Ravinder Grewal would enthral the audience during the matches.
