Receiving mixed signals from government on talks: Imran Khan

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan said Saturday his party is receiving mixed signals from the government abouut the talks that are due to commence.While leaving for a hearing before an election tribunal in Lahore, he said "the government must act serious if they are willing to initiate talks", Dunya News reported."Negotiations had come to halt on the demand of Nawaz Sharif’s resignation and we withdrew from the condition suggesting that the sit-in would continue as long as the investigation bears an outcome," he added.He said that the government would have to depart if the investigation was carried out transparently, adding that all the elections after 1970 were rigged.Imran Khan said negotiations must begin from the point where left off.He said the election tribunal’s apt decision would ensure genuine democracy, adding that he was presenting himself before the tribunal for the future of the state.
