A fierce encounter broke out between suspected militants and security forces in Summer Capital of Jammu and Kashmir this afternoon.Militants fired upon a paramilatery patrolling party in Soura area which triggered an encounter in an area. However reports suggests that two Laskar e Toiba militants among one is said to be a district chief of LeT were killed.Meanwhile, Inspector General of Police, Kashmir, Abdul Gani Mir said militant was killed in retaliatory fire after gunmen attacked a police patrolling party.The police and paramilitary Central Reserve Police Force engaged the militant in a gunfight who started firing from the shed. In the encounter the militant also got killed.As the exchange of fire between the militant and the forces continued in the area, some 14 kms from the venue where Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to address a rally on December 8, groups of youth chanting pro-freedom slogans took to the streets and clashed with forces.
