Congress General Secretary and leader of Samba District, Hans Raj Bhagat joined Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the presence of senior leaders.In a statement a spokesman of the party said Bhagat after meeting with party patron Mufti Mohammad Sayeed joined the PDP. Vond Sharma welcomed Bhagat into the party fold and hoped that with his joining party would be strengthened in Jammu region.Speaking on the occasion, Hans Raj said that he had served the Congress, has decided to join due the policies and programmes of the party. He said that during his tenure of just three years Mufti Mohammad Sayeed had proved how to provide good governance to the people. He said that it was all due to the sincerity of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed that elections of the Urban Local Bodies were held after a gap of nearly two decades.
