Gulzar Singh Ranike, Cabinet Minister and President Shiromani Akali Dal SC wing today said that hardcore traditional Akalis and dedicated young faces would get due representation in the organizational setup of the wing to strengthen the party at the grass root level. Presiding over the meeting of the State Office Bearers and District Presidents of the Wing, Ranike directed District Presidents to complete their organizational set up at circle and ward level at the earliest and present their written report. Ranike asked the cadre to closely monitor the implementation of various schemes initiated by the SAD-BJP government to ensure that benefit of these schemes should reach the Dalits and weaker sections of the society. He said that Punjab government was spending thousands of crores by various welfare schemes including Atta-Dal schemes, Shagun Schemes etc and it becomes our prime duty that benefit should reach the poor population. He said that party cadres must give unbiased feedback to the government regarding the problems being faced by the people at the grass root level. They should also suggest the remedial measures to address these problems.The feedback of members was deliberated during meeting and strategy was worked out to strengthen the wing at grass root level. The SC Wing thanked the Dalits and weaker sections of the society for giving unprecedented support to SAD-BJP alliance in the election making this historic victory possible. Ranike said that in this election SC wing has got strengthen and two dozen faces from the wing have got chance to serve the public. Ranike also thanked all Punjabis for reiterating their faith in the programs and policies of SAD-BJP government and creating a history in Punjab to bring back an incumbent SAD-BJP government for second term. The SAD SC wing also applauded the brave, far sighted and tireless leadership of Party Patron Parkash Singh Badal and party president Sukhbir Singh Badal. Prominent amongst others Darshan Singh Kotfatta, MLA, Joginder Singh Jindu, MLA, Jaspal Singh Kalian, Swaran Singh, Lakhwinder Singh, Bikar Singh, Gulzar Singh, Avtar Singh, Master Gurdev Singh (all District President of the SC Wing) and Darshan Singh Shivjot, Secretary SC Wing were also present in the meeting.
