A Myanmar national was arrested here in connection with the death of two Bangaldeshi militants in Burdwan in West Bengal, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) said Tuesday.Kaleed alias Khalid Mohammed, belonging to Rohingiya Solidarity Organization, was having links with Bangladesh-based terrorist groups. The 28-year-old is said to be an expert in explosives. The NIA said he was arrested Monday afternoon. Kaleed was allegedly running terror camps in areas bordering Bangladesh and Myanmar."He was found in possession of incriminating videos of training materials, literature relating to poison, bomb making, explosives and Jihadi literature including that of ISIS," said a NIA statement.

The central agency said the accused admitted to have undergone training by Tehreek-e-Azadi Arkan with trainers from Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan.Khaleed was residing in Hyderabad after faking his identity. "He is found to be without valid travel documents." The NIA said further investigations were on.The accused is likely to be produced before a court. Informed sources said he may be taken to Kolkata. Two suspected members of Bangaldesh's Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen died in a blast in a house Oct 2 in Khagragarh area of Burdwan district.

The NIA, which is probing the blast, has so far arrested five people. They include Amjad Sheikh, said to be a key member of Jamaat-ul-Mujhahideen and one of the main conspirators in the case.A four-member team of the NIA is in Bangladesh regarding investigations into the blast. As the case is believed to have wider security ramifications for the two countries, the NIA team met top officials in Dhaka.Khaleed is the first person to be arrested in the case in Hyderabad. The NIA had said last month that they are probing the possible links between Burdwan blast and a bank robbery in Telangana's Karimnagar district. The investigating officials visited Choppadandi village in Karimnagar district where four armed men looted Rs.46 lakh from the State Bank of India (SBI) in February this year. Police suspect the involvement of some members of the banned Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI) in that robbery.
