Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal today felicitated Veena Kumari and Aarti - the Punjabi women constables of 74th battalion of the Border Security Force, who shot dead two unidentified Pakistani nationals trying to sneak into the Indian Territory in two separate incidents. Lauding the exemplary courage and bravery shown by these two daughters of the soil, Badal said that they have not only done proud to Punjab but also the country through this rare and heroic feat. Their superb and unparalleled valour and sense of professional commitment would ever remain a source of inspiration for other women personnel in the defence and paramilitary forces, added Badal.
