Criticizing the state government for not providing immediate compensation to the flood affected people Bhartiya Janta Party’s senior leader today appealed people of his concern constituency to vote for party in the upcoming assembly elections.Khurshid Ahmad Malik who is the Incharge Beerwah constituency while conducting series of medical camps in flood-hit villages of Beerwah area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district said in a statement issued to GNS: “We have distributed medicines worth more than 10 lakhs among the poor people of at least 45 villages in Beerwah constituency of the district.”The residents of these respective areas according to the GNS correspondent hailed the efforts of the BJP leader for conducting these free medical camps.

Malik however appealed the Indian Home Minister, Rajnath Singh to depute a team for survey in the Beerwah constituency in order to assess the damage caused by the floods. “So that to compensate those who got most affected accordingly,” the statement said.Coming high over the government for not providing relief among the residents of Beerwah constituency Malik told GNS that the ruling governments have completely neglected the villages as far as the relief and compensation is concerned.“I appeal the people for strengthening the party cutting across religion, caste and region,” he said. Adding that BJP is the only party which can serve to all three region of the state with equitable development, he sought support and vote from the people for the party in the upcoming assembly election.  The BJP leader also urged upon the people to vote ‘en masse’ for BJP and its leadership all across the state to usher the state into a new era of development and good governance.
