Downplaying the appearance of ISIS flags during street protests in the valley, Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah Tuesday denied the terror group's presence in the state and said action had been taken against the "foolish youths" who displayed the flags."No groups of the ISIS are present (in Jammu and Kashmir). Some foolish youths used the flags but that was it," Abdullah told the media here after meeting union Home Minister Rajnath Singh to discuss the border tension with Pakistan."Unfortunately some channels have played up this issue unnecessarily but we have already taken action against the guilty," he added.

Abdullah informed that apart from some arrests in the case, the tailor who made the flag has also been identified and action is being initiated against him."We are doing everything necessary but still the media is accusing us of not doing anything to punish the guilty," he said. The Indian army in July had said the possibility of terror spillover from Afghanistan to Jammu and Kashmir was a real concern following the appearance of the ISIS posters and flags in Srinagar.
