Preparations for the 67th Annual Nirankari Sant Samagam scheduled to be held on November 15, 16 and 17, 2014 began here today with formal inauguration of voluntary Sewaat the Samagam venue with a cut in the ground by His Holiness Baba Hardev Singh JiMaharaj, Head of the Sant Nirankari Mission. His gracious spouse Pujya Mata SawinderJi also participated in the ceremony.Lakhs of devotees of the Mission from all over India and abroad are expected to attend the Samagam. Arrangements for their boarding and lodging will be made on the venue itself. The tented accommodation will have all the necessary amenities like water supply, electricity, sewerage, etc. Besides Langar there will be canteens to provide tea, coffee and snacks at subsidized rates. The huge Satsang, Pandal will be surrounded by offices, publication stalls, etc.Addressing the Sewa Dal volunteers and other devotees, Baba Hardev Singh JiMaharaj said that the motive of the Samagam is to strengthen human bond, to bring man closer to man and encourage social regeneration. He said that the Samagam will present a beautiful example of unity in persity based on the realization of God which is the dire need of the present time.

Referring to the enthusiasm among Sewa Dal volunteers and other devotees to participate in the preparation for the Samagam, Baba Ji said that they wait for the Samagam all the year round, because it offers them an opportunity for service of fellow devotees.  Speaking on the occasion, Shri H.L. Arora, Member InchargeSewadal said that after pine knowledge, this opportunity for service to humanity in the form of this Annual Nirankari Sant Samagam is another great blessing by His Holiness. He said that no service is greater than to serve Satguru and fellow devotees. He sought blessings from Baba Ji so that all may work with dedication, discipline and cooperation before and during the Samagam. Shri V.D. Nagpal, General Secretary of the Sant Nirankari Mandal also thanked Baba Ji for giving this opportunity to Sewadal and other devotees to serve saints coming to attend the Samagam.  

Earlier, on their arrival at the Samagam venue, His Holiness Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharajaand Pujya Mata SawinderJi were welcomed with garlands. Shri JRD Stayarthi, President of the Sant Nirankari Mandal, Shri Gobind Singh, Chariman, Central Planning and Advisory Board and Shri HarbansLal, Member InchargeSewadal garlanded Baba Ji, while  Shri VD Nagpal, General Secretary, Sant Nirankari Mandal, Shri KR Chadha, Vice-Chairman CPAB and Shri CL Gulati, Secretary (HQ) welcomed Pujya Mata Ji.
