The Cabinet which met here under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah approved the following transfers and postings in the Forest Department : -
1. A.K. Singh, IFS, (PCCF), Chief Wildlife Warden has been transferred and posted as PCCF (Territorial) against an available vacancy caused due to superannuation on retirement of Mr. Abhai Kumar, IFS on 31-07-2014.
2. Abdul Razak, IFS (PCCF) Project Chief, IWDP/CED, WUCMA has been transferred and posted as Chief Wildlife Warden vice Mr. A.K. Singh, IFS.
3. Deepak Khanna, IFS (APCCF), CCF, Project & Planning has been transferred and posted as Project Chief , IWDP vice Mr. Abdul Razak, IFS.
4. Ravi Kumar Kesar, IFS (APCCF), Director Forest Protection Force has been transferred and posted as Director, Soil Conservation against an available vacancy caused due to superannuation on retirement of Mr. M.J. Sharma, IFS on 30-09-2014
5. Arun. K. Tikku, IFS (APCCF), Member Secretary, PCB has been transferred and posted as Director, Social Forestry against available vacancy caused due to superannuation on retirement of Mr. M.A. Tak, IFS on 31-07-2014.
6. S.K. Gupta, IFS, CCF, Settlement & Demarcation has been transferred and posted as Director, Forest Protection Force vice Mr. Ravi Kumar Kesar, IFS.
7. Javid Iqbal Panjoo, IFS, Conservator of Forest, South Circle has been transferred and posted as Member Secretary, State Pollution Control Board vice Mr. A.K. Tikku, IFS. (KNS)
