Hundreds prayed for Kashmir peace in 800 year old temple

Hundreds of Kashmiri pandit devotees were seen Friday praying for Kashmir’s peace in North Kashmir’s 800 year old temple. According to the KNS correspondent,   Kashmiri Pandiths celebrate Mata Kali Badri festival on Friday with gaiety.Pandith pilgrims from Delhi, Jammu and other parts of country along with non migrant local pandiths thronged Badri Kali Mandir at Handwara to participate in Maha Yegya. Meanwhile,   Handwara Police under the supervision of S.P Handwara Maqsood ul Zahman and SDPO Mir Ifroz have opened up assistance booths for the pilgrims in the area. Zaman told KNS that the adequate arrangements were already in place to beef up security in the region.  (KNS)
