Mobile services have been "somewhat" restored everywhere in flood-hit Jammu and Kashmir, except in Poonch, Union Telecom Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad said."The central government has worked a lot to restore communication in the valley," Prasad told the media here."Land lines are functional in many houses in the valley," Prasad said, adding that private companies have allowed free talk time to people in the state and many companies have provided free SIM cards also."Except Poonch, mobile services are available everywhere somewhat," he added.Over 200 people have died and nearly 1,30,000 people have been rescued in the flood-ravaged state so far.
