Video game parlors ruining the future of kids in the Srinagar city and its out skirts. These parlors turned into a betting zone often provide video game sets with a little amount of money to minors so that they can be addicted to gaming and by the passing time this addiction of gaming turns into a menace which finally leads a minor to thefts, smoking, miss behavior and school bunking.“Many times I kept a watch and dragged my kid back to home to get his games addiction away. The owners of these video game parlors addict a kid to that level that he automatically gets desperate to visit again and again,” one of the parents Basher Ahmad from Rainawari said.

“I was surprised watching my son cheating his mother for money so that he can visit a video game parlor nearby our house. I tried to stop his visits to that parlor but failed, there should be interference by the authorities so that these parlors will vanish from the valley,” said a parent from Khayam chowk Srinagar.“My son is just 12 years old and I was wandering that were he just learned to miss behave with the elders and to be rude with the young ones, after I started observing him I found a simple reason addiction of games and after visiting one of the gaming parlors I myself saw kids smoking and abusing each other,” another parent Rameez Shah from Khanyar said.“Kids which are considered as the future of the state shall be perted to such ways so that they can seek for a better life. As many of the video games like wrestle mania, grand theft auto, bike racing etc contain adult graphics and videos in them which definitely create an ailing effect on a minor brain. I on behalf of all the parents appeal government of Jammu and Kashmir to make some rules so that this fatal of gaming couldn’t affect minors in the valley for future,” He Added.
