A book based on Syed Abid Hussain, one of the founding members of Jamia Millia Islamia entitled “Life and achievements of Syed Abid Hussain” was presented to the Vice President of India M. Hamid Ansari by its author Dr. Khawar Hashmi here today. The book describes in details the contributions of Syed Abid Hussain on the civilization of India. Dr. Hashmi also presented another book entitled “Adab and Qaumi Zindagi”, a compilation of his many articles of national and social issues to the Vice President. The Vice President congratulated the author for these valuable books.
