A delegation of Beopar Mandal Sanjauli of Shimla town, Istri Sabha, Sanatan Dharam Management Committee led by Shri Harish Janartha, former Deputy Mayor, Municipal Corporation, Shimla called on Chief Minister Shri Virbhadra Singh here today. The delegation apprised the Chief Minister that the location where houses were being constructed in Sanjauli nearby Dhengu Temple for BPL families of the town by Municipal Corporation Shimla was not appropriate place for construction. They said that Sanjauli was densely populated area and basic amenities such as drinking water were not available in sufficient.They said that this place was also sensitive from disaster management point of view. They said that it would be very difficult to construct 250 houses at this place due to lack of basic facilities.
Chief Minister assured them that their demands would be considered sympathetically.Shri Sushant Kapret, Councillor, MC, Shimla, Shri Narender Thakur and Smt. Satya Kaundal, Shri Shitender Batish, President, Beopar Mandal Sanjauli, Smt. Satya Kapoor, President, Istri Sabha and Shri Ashwani Sood, President, Sanatan Dharam Management Committee and other office bearers were also present on the occasion.
