Army on Tuesday morning launched a massive search operation in Balakote sector of Poonch district in Jammu and Kashmir.Official sources told GNS that the joint team of army’s 15 Bihar and 49 RR launched a massive searches in the area from today morning following a group of about 15-20 militants tried to sneak into this side near Pajni Nallah in Tikri area. “The forces had challenged them that led to the heavy exchange of fire fight.”During the search operation, the joint team of forces arrested a youth close to the Line of Control (LoC) on suspicious grounds, a senior army official said.He identified the youth as Arif Hussain (26) son of Mohammad Sharief of Dharhal Rajouri. The youth was later handed over to police station Mendhar for further formalities.Meanwhile, SDPO Mendhar Surinder Chowdary told GNS that the youth who was handed over to us is a mentally retarded person.
