The Punjab Government has decided to provide free coaching to the candidates belonging to Scheduled castes and backward classes for civil services main examination, 2013. According to the Punjab Welfare Minister Mr. Gulzar Singh Ranike, the coaching course would commence from September 2 and continue till date of examination. He said that all the candidates belonging to scheduled castes, backward classes and minorities, who have cleared the civil services preliminary examination 2013-14 and their family income was less than one lac per year, was eligible to join the coaching. Ranike further said that interested candidates may contact the principal of Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Carriers and Courses, Mohali. He said that free coaching with hostel facilities besides required financial assistance would be given to the candidates as per norms.
