Number of dedicated youth enthusiasts on Thursday (July 24, 2014) participated ‘SAYS-TraumaLink Community First Responder Training Program’, jointly organized by region’s strong youth network, South Asian Youth Society (SAYS) and Traumalink Harvard Medical School at Edward M Kennedy (EMK) Centre, Dhaka as part of capacity building initiatives bringing about community engagement with a view to dealing large number of post-accidental first aids activities. TraumaLink President Doctor Jon Moussally provided interactive lectures, and ran practical training sessions along with his associates and practitioners.Under one of its six focused areas (e.g. community development), SAYS collaborated the event. Truly a regional organization, SAYS wants to promote youth development and create a united platform for South Asian Youth by exploring, networking, training and through knowledge sharing, social and cross-border activity and crowning cultural bondage. 

Thus it pursues its vision as building peace and prosperity in South Asia.SAYS Founder President Towfique A Khan observed the event in person and a large number of media correspondents appeared there.Community training institute, TraumaLink quickly connects traffic accident victims with the emergency care they need. At the time an Injury Occurs, victims and bystanders call TraumaLink’s emergency hotline using mobile phones. Then, a TraumaLink operator takes the emergency call and alerts trained first responders that are nearby and ready to help. And hence, a trained volunteer first responder is quickly dispatched to provide care to accident victims until they can reach more advanced medical care. TraumaLink helps traffic crash victims survive their injuries by connecting them to local first responders.
