02 burglars arrested in Kupwara

Kupwara police has arrested two burglars and recovered stolen goods including motor spare parts and lubricants besides seized the car used in the commission of offence.Burglars broke in a spare parts shop at Kralpora and decamped with Motor spare parts and lubricants from the shop. A case FIR number 62/14 under section 457, 380 RPC was registered in this regard and investigation was started.During investigation police questioned many suspects and zeroed in two habitual burglars Bashir Ahmad Bhat son of Ahad Bhat resident of Punzwa and Kaiser Ahmad Sheikh son of Abdul Rahim resident of Degri. The duo confessed to the commission of the burglary and revealed that they had broken the shutter of the shop in the night hours. On their instances lubricant oil and other spare parts were recovered from them. Police also seized the Maruti car bearing registration number JK02K 3728 used in the commission of offence. (KNS)
