Mr. Som Parkash today assumed the office as chief parliamentary secretary here at his office in Punjab Civil Secretariat.Speaking on the occasion Mr Som Parkash said that Up-gradation of civic infrastructure with emphasis on cleanliness of cities would be his top priority. He said that Solid Waste Management project in 137 cities across the state was all set to change face of these cities in Punjab. He said that required recruitment would be soon made to bring more efficiency in the day to day functioning of Urban Bodies. He said that he would use his administrative experience in promoting the work culture in civic bodies so that the urban populace could be provided quality urban infrastructure. He said that the ongoing projects in cities would be completed within stipulated time period.
