Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal would be rushing to the spot of mishap tomorrow on April 17 at Jalandhar directly from Nanded to access the situation and personally monitor the ongoing relief operations. Disclosing this here today a spokesperson of the Chief Minister’s Office said that the Mr. Badal has also urged the Centre to send more teams of National Disaster Rapid Forces to carry out rescue operations expeditiously and efficiently.
The State Government has also ordered the registration of FIR against all the accused including the owner of the Industrial unit who were responsible for this unfortunate incident. Meanwhile, the owner of the Industrial unit Mr. Sheetal Vij has been arrested under section 304 of IPC and provisions of Prevention of Corruption Act.
