The shopkeepers in Shaheed Gunj area of summer capital on Monday nabbed an extortionist along with a toy pistol, sources said here.Sources told GNS that an extortionist identified Saleem Mir son of Ghulam Muhammad, who is a resident of Safa Kadal in downtown, was threatening shopkeepers by displaying the toy pistol at Neelum Chowk in Shaheed Gunj and was demanding money.“However, some people realized that he is holding a fake pistol and they nabbed him. The shopkeepers instantly informed police and the man was arrested,” they said.Meanwhile, a police official told GNS that a case has been registered in this case and further investigations have been taken up.
