Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh was presented a cheque of Rs. 7,39,350 towards C.M. Relief Fund by Vice Chancellor, Himachal Pradesh University Shimla Prof. ADN Bajpayee, on behalf of teaching and non teaching employees of the university, as their one day salary, here today. Member Executive Council Shri Bambar Thakur and Shri Chander Shekhar, Registrar Prof. Mohan Jharta, Dean of Studies Prof. Suresh Kumar, Dean College Development Council Prof. Rajender Chauhan, Presidents and office bearers of Teaching and Non Teaching Staff Associations were present among others. Chief Minister thanked Vice Chancellor, teaching and non teaching staff of HPU for their contribution and said that it would help in providing succour to the poor and needy people in the State.
