A delegation of Himachal Pradesh Ayurvedic Pharmacists Confederation led by President of Himachal Pradesh Non-Gazetted Employees Confederation Shri Surinder Mankotia called on Chief Minister Shri Virbhadra Singh here today.Delegation urged the Chief Minister to make recruitment of pharmacists on batchwise basis, provide revised Pay Scale and Grade Pay on the pattern of Punjab.
Vinod Kumar Sharma, President Himachal Pradesh Ayurvedic Pharmacists Confederation apprised the Chief Minister that previous Government had given Rs. 4200 Grade Pay to the Pharmacists of Health Department and Rs. 4600 Grade Pay to Chief Ayurvedic Pharmacists on the analogy of Punjab Government whereas the issue of releasing revised Grade Pay to the Pharmacists of Ayurvedic Department was still pending with the Finance Department. They urged the Chief Minister to provide them Pay Scale and Grade Pay equivalent to the Pharmacists of Health Department. The Chief Minister assured the delegation that their demands would be considered sympathetically.
