Kedar Kashyp Minister of Schedule Caste and Schedule Tribe Department, OBC and Minorities Development and School Education Department, Chhattisgarh called on Thaawar Chand Gehlot, Union Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment here today.Kashyp discussed matters relating to Hostel Facility for Scheduled Caste students of Chhattisgarh. Shri Gehlot said that proposal has been sent to Finance Ministry for want of fund for the said scheme. The Minister from Chhattisgarh also raised issues relating to play ground for SC students, scheme for persons with disabilities, senior citizen etc.
P. Rajavelu, Minster of Welfare & Tourism, Pudducheri also called on Shri Thaawar Chand Gehlot and sought his help to increase the fund for scholarship schemes for SC and Backward Class students. The Minister also requested the Minister of Social Justice & Empowerment to help him in establishing Old age home for senior citizens. P.
