The Minister of State for Steel, Mines and Labour & Employment, Shri Vishnu Deo Sai and Secretary, Ministry of Labour & Employment, Smt Gauri Kumar were also present on the occasion. In the meeting, Employers’ Organisations welcomed Minister’s timely initiative for tripartite consultations and appreciated government’s positive attitude towards solving the problems being faced by the industry. During the discussions, employers stressed on the need to create, among other things, entrepreneurship development programmes, recognition and intensifying all the skill development initiatives undertaken by MSMEs, integration of these initiatives to the mainstream of Skill Development Programmes, and bringing one single law for MSME sector.
