Sharanjit Singh Dhillon PWD Minister Punjab said that all the development projects started by the department would be completed within stipulated time period. He was presiding over a meeting of chief engineers to review the progress of various development projects. He instructed the officers to expedite the pace of work so as the projects could be completed within fixed time frame. Mr. Dhillon also sought the detailed progress report of all the projects under construction. He asked the chief engineers to put up this report in the next meeting.
Mr. Dhillon said that the projects which are about to complete soon be dedicated to the public by Chief Minister Mr. Parkash singh badal and Deputy chief Minister Mr. Sukhbir Singh badal. He said that the construction work of approved projects has been commenced. He directed the officers to put up a detailed report of all the projects which have been forwarded to the union government for approval. Dhillon further said that the Punjab government has decided to launch a state wide campaign to put up modern signages along all National and State Highways besides demarcating all roads with white centre and border lines to ensure road safety and guide commuters.
