Former Union Minister and state chief minister Ghulam Nabi Azad on Sunday appeared all set to become Leader of the Opposition in Rajya Sabha after his appointment as Leader of Congress in the Upper House.According to the reports received, Azad has been appointed as the leader of opposition in the Rajya Sabha of the parliament.Azad while stated that he is thankful to the UPA chairperson Sonai Gandhi for giving him such a huge responsibility and that he will for sure use his experience that he had gained during his tenure as the minister for the parliamentary affairs. “Now Congress is in the opposition in the Rajya Sabha. At least we are recognized opposition in the Rajya Sabha. This Condition we don’t have in the Lok Sabha. I am thankful that I have been appointed as the leader of the opposition.”
