Punjab Government Re-Constitutes Executive Committee Of State Council For Science & Technology

The Punjab Government has nominated sixteen members of the Executive Committee of Punjab State Council for Science Technology (PSCST) and notification have been issued in this regard.Disclosing this here today an Official Spokesperson of Science and Technology Department, Punjab said that the Chief Secretary, Punjab would be the Chairman of this Committee. He said that Secretary, Department of Science, Technology and Environment, Punjab will be the Member Secretary.He said that Secretary, Department of Science & Technology, Government of India, Financial Commissioner Development, Punjab Principal Secretary, Industry and Commerce, Punjab, Secretary, Department of Technical Education, Punjab,  Special/Additional/Joint Secretary, Department of Science, Technology and Environment, Punjab,  Executive Director, Punjab State Council for Science Technology, Chandigarh and Executive Director, Punjab Energy Development Agency will be the Ex-officio Members of the committee.He further said that Director, Central Scientific Instrument Organization, Chandigarh, Director, Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, Patiala, Director (Research), Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana, Director, Indian Institute of Science Education & Research, Mohali, Dr. Ram Boojh, Programme Specialist, (Ecology and Earth Sciences),UNESCO Office, New Delhi, Advisor, Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Govt. of India, New Delhi, Advisor/Director, Ministry of Environment and Forest, Regional Office, Chandigarh will be the Members of this committee.
