The Punjab Government has chalked out a comprehensive plan for the upliftment and welfare of the unprivileged sections of SC/BC communities. The schemes framed for the overall development of these communities will be implemented in scheduled time especially the Shagun to the daughters of the downtrodden families will be provided for their comfort by making the Shgun Scheme online. For the upkeep of livestock, 200 new animal dispensaries will be constricted in the rural area. In the next five year a new target in milk productivity will be achieved by extracting 12 liter milk each from 2 lack buffalos.
It was disclosed by Mr. Gulzar Singh Ranike Minister for SC/BC welfare and animal husbandry while assuming the charge of his department. Following the religious traditions the path of Shri Sukhmani Sahib was solemnized. Mr. Ranike sought the blessing of Shri Guru Granth Sahib before assuming the charge.
