Sagar asks officers to speed up developmental programme

Minister for Rural Development and Panchayati Raj,Ali Mohammad Sagar has directed the officers to ensure that the comprehensive beautification plan for developing the Srinagar city on the heritage pattern is speeded up.The Minister was addressing officers during a review meeting convened to discuss the status of implementation of various developmental programmes undertaken by the government for ensuring the holistic development of Srinagar city.

Sagar directed the officers to ensure that the road widening from Nowpora to Rainawari on the prestigious Syed Mirakshah road is completed by October end and the necessary acquisitions if any are done as early as possible. He also directed them to hold HLC meetings on regular basis, so that the compensation cases are decided within the shortest possible time.The Minister also directed the officers to ensure that the link road connecting Wazapora and Mirwaiz Manzil road is completed for the convenience of general public. He also asked them to speed up the acquisition of the properties at Zainakadal, so that the beautification project of the area on heritage pattern is speeded up.
