The Congress Tuesday dismissed the exit polls which predicted the party's worst defeat in the Lok Sabha elections, saying the pollsters deserve a Nobel Prize for miniaturization."Those who try and capture the essence of Indian polity in exit polls on samples sizes and varying sizes deserve Nobel Prize for miniaturization," Congress spokesperson Abhishek Manu Singhvi said, referring to exit polls by TV news channels. He claimed his party was heading for victory, citing how the exit polls in 2004 and 2009 went wrong."What happened in 2004 and 2009? People don't seem to be learning the lessons of history," he said.Singhvi asked who could have imagined that BJP-led National Democratic Alliance would lose after being projected to get 260 to 280 seats in 2004, but only ending up with 189.
