TDP chief N. Chandrababu Naidu Maonday hailed his party's win in the municipal elections in Seemandhra, terming it as people's victory. The former Andhra Pradesh chief minister said it was a historic win by the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and thanked urban voters for reposing faith in the party.Naidu said the Telugu people rejected the corrupt and voted for the TDP to ensure development of Andhra Pradesh. The TDP bagged five out of seven corporations and 62 out of 93 municipalities, which went to polls in Seemandhra on March 30. The results were announced Monday.Naidu alleged that people had to face many hardships due to the 10 years of misrule and corruption of the Congress.
