BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi remained as the hot favourite for bookies and punters for becoming the next prime minister while Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi lagged a distant second, sources said here Friday.With one phase of polling remaing, the current odds on Modi are 32 paise and Rs.10 for Rahul.Unexpectedly, Priyanka Gandhi who recently entered the campaign fray without contesting, and virtually pushed Modi into a political corner, is ranked a hot favourite at 50 paise - far above her brother Rahul.Other likely contenders like Bahujan Samaj Party chief Mayawati, Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav and Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee are further behind between Rs.15-20, while Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal lags at Rs.40.
