Bikram Singh Majithia, Revenue and Public Relations Minister, Punjab today while participating the political conference of Shiromani Akali Dal here at Talwandi Sabo on the eve of Baisakhi exhorted the youths of state in general and workers of Youth Akali Dal in particular to purge the Congress led UPA Government in interest of the Country.
Receiving unprecedented welcome from YAD Workers, who were gathered in a massive numbers at various places led to Talwandi Sabo, Mr. Majithia said that the countdown of Congress Party has begun and in ensuing Lok Sabha polls it would have to face a shocking defeat, which would eliminate this party of aristocrats forever from country’s political scene. He said that the informed electorates of the nation would not spare the ‘so called government of Aam Aadmi’ in center for closing its eyes to the interests of Common Masses for the two consecutive terms. He said that this Government has looted the assets of the nation with both hands, for which it would have to pay and its drastic defeat was inevitable.
Calling upon the workers of Youth Akali Dal to propagate the ill-managed, anti-poor, pro-MNCs and anti-farmers policies of Congress led UPA Government at the ground level, the Revenue Minister said that YAD workers would also educate the people of Punjab about massive development initiatives taken and implemented by SAD-BJP Government. He said that youth was the backbone of every society and the Youth of Punjab had contributed a lot for the reformation of SAD-BJP government in the state. He said that the incumbent government in the state has always given due priority to the youths, which would be continued in the coming times and due representation would be awarded under the able leadership of Chief Minister Parkash Singh Baal and visionary guidance of Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Sukhbir Singh Badal.
Earlier, members of Youth Akali Dal extended unprecedented welcome to Mr. Majithia at different places including Maur Mandi Chowk, Kot Shamir, Bhagi Bandar and Talwandi Sabo. Prominent amongst those were present on the occasion included Mr. Gurpreet Singh Maluka, Mr. Gurpreet Singh Sidhu, Mr. Jagsir Singh, all National General Secretary of YAD, Mr. Gurpal Singh, National Vice President of YAD and Mr. Balkar Singh, President YAD Bathinda unit.
