Health Minister, Shri Kaul Singh Thakur called on Union Civil Aviation Minister, Shri Ajit Singh in New Delhi today and requested him to restore the air services at all airports of the State .Shri Kaul Singh Thakur apprised the Union Minister that the tourism industry in the State was badly being affected due to termination of air services and requested him to initiate efforts for restoration of air services during ensuing summer season. He said that large number of International tourists from Europe visit Dharamshala to seek blessings of Tibetian Spiritual Leader, his Holiness Dalai Lama and other popular tourist destinations at Shimla, Kullu and Dharamshala round the year.He urged the Union Government to hire small Choppers for the State and restore air traffic on all three airports. Shri Ajit Singh assured him for resolving the issue soon.
