On last day of election campaign Congress candidate and Member of Parliament Ravneet Singh Bittu held a road show from his main election office. People welcomed Bittu at various places and shower flowers on him. The people assured Mr. Bittu that they will make him win in the election.The road show crossed through areas including Election Office, Pakhowal Road, Lalton Kalan, Lalton Khurd, Jhande, Baddowal, Mullanpur, Jagroan City, Humbran, Changan, Bhai Randhir Singh Nagar.Bittu said, Late Chief Minister Beant Singh had played an important role in the development of industry in Punjab especially in Ludhiana.The Badal family has grabbed sand mining, cable and transport sectors and looting the Punjab like anything. He further added that the Akalis have ruined the youth of Punjab by distributing drugs. Everyone has been asking the question when the greed of Akalis will be fulfilled that have illegally occupied the natural resources and killing people by selling drugs among the people. The goons of Akali dal have been threatening people and the police not listening to their grievances.
Ravneet Singh Bittu said the SAD-BJP alliance has brought the Punjab rearward. He said that problems like unemployment, drug addiction, moving out of industry and weak law and order condition is result of failure of state government and increasing greed of the SAD-BJP leaders.He said the industry has neither getting power nor the fair administration. Industry has been exploited in inspector Raj. The adverse policies of Government have been causing unemployment and hurdles in development. He said people have been annoyed with the adverse policies of SAD-BJP allianceand will announce their verdict on April 30.The others who were present at the occasion were Pawan Dewan, Malkit Singh Dakha, KK Bawa, Bharat Bhushan Ashu were also present.
