Big Jolt to Congress, Professor Darbari Lal joins BJP

In a big jolt to Congress , the veteran Congress  leader , Ex Deputy Speaker and Cabinet minister , Prof. Darbari Lal joined Bhartiya Janta Party. He said Congress lost its colour and now country needs Modi. He joined the party in the presence of Arun Jaitley , BJP-SAD candidate from Amritsar, Kamal Sharma president BJP Punjab and Bikram Jeet Singh Majithia cabinet minister in a press conference held at hotel Holiday Inn.Joining BJP he said that Congress at present lost color, it is not the Congress as it used to be. Corruption and favoritism has become routine here, and dedicated workers are feeling suffocated in the party. Moreover these are the national elections and in the interest   of nation and Amritsar constituency NDA government, under Narendra Modi is a necessity. He further said that Captain Amrinder Singh was always reluctant to contest from Amritsar. Even if he becomes an MP he won’t be able to do anything for development of this constituency. He made an appeal to the people to go with the tide and vote for Mr. Jaitley for better future.While welcoming Prof. Darbari Lal to the party , Mr. Jaitley hailed  his 50 year neat and clean public life .He said that Professor has set high moral standards in public life and this father figure’s entry in the party will not only boost party’s prospects in the elections but will also benefit it in the long run.Bikram Singh majithia, Cabinet Minister while welcoming prof.Lal said that prof.Lal feels that Mr.Jaitley’s victory from Amritsar is the victory of development and the constituency. Kamal Sharma BJP state president also welcomed Professor’s entry into the family of BJP.
