Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Sanjeev Verma, today reviewed progress on Ring Road project here at a meeting with the concerned officers.The meeting was attended by Project Director NHAI, Ajay Kumar Rajak, Sub Divisional Magistrate Jammu North, Satish Sharma, Tehsildar Bishnah and other concerned officers while Deputy Commissioner, Samba attended the meeting through video conferencing. Deputy Commissioner Samba informed that land acquisition cases of ring road falling in his jurisdiction have been cleared, awards issued and compensation has also been disbursed among the beneficiaries.The officers of NHAI informed the Div Com about the works being done so far besides discussing the status of remaining works which are at different stages of completion.Div Com asked the executing agencies to ensure that all the bottlenecks hindering the vital works are removed at the earliest and expedite the pace of work to meet the timelines.Earlier, in a meeting with Airport authorities the Divisional Commissioner discussed issues of resurfacing works at AF station.The meeting was attended by officer of Airforce, Airport Managers and other concerned officer.
