Independence Day -2019 : Full dress rehearsals held across Jammu region

As part of the preparations for Independence Day celebration, full dress rehearsals were held in all districts of Jammu. The event saw enthusiastic participation of student contingents and cultural troupes from several schools. Besides, several contingents from NCC, J&K Police, Armed and Para military forces also participated in the event.At Jammu, Divisional Commissioner, Sanjeev Verma hoisted the National Flag and inspected the Parade here at Mini-Stadium Parade Ground.Div Com took the salute at the march past comprising contingents of District Police, CRPF, JKAP, NCC, Forest Protection Force and students drawn from various schools.IGP, Mukesh Singh, Deputy Commissioner, Sushma Chouhan, ADC, Rashpal Singh, SSP, Tejinder Singh besides other senior officers of civil and police administration were also present on the occasion.A scintillating cultural bonanza, featuring patriotic and culture themes besides message against the social evils was presented by the Children drawn from government and private schools of the city and its peripheries.The event witnessed a large participation of school children, civil society members, contingents of belt force personnel, senior civil and police functionaries.At Samba,  Full dress rehearsal for Independence Day was held at Arazi Sports Stadium, Samba where the Additional Deputy Commissioner, Vikas Gupta unfurled the National Flag and took salute at the march past by the contingents of Police and students.The event witnessed a cultural programme based on patriotic and social messages which was attended by scores of peoples besides police, CRPF, army, local administration and school children.

At Rajouri, the event was held at District Police Line Rajouri where Additional Deputy Commissioner Rajouri Sher Singh hoisted the National Flag and took salute from the contingents of Police band, CRPF, IRP, JKP, FPF and NCC.The ADC inspected the parade and observed the band drill, contingents March Past and expressed satisfaction over the arrangements made by various departments for smooth celebrations of I-Day.Senior officers from civil and police administration besides locals were present on the occasion.At Kishtwar, full-dress rehearsal for 73rd Independence Day was held today with mock drills, parades and flag hoisting at District Headquarter. Additional Deputy Commissioner, Pawan Parihar, hoisted the national flag and took salute at the march past by the contingents of school children, police, army and others. The event was attended by various officers and officials of civil and police administration besides students and prominent citizens.At Ramban, the event was held at District Police Line Chandrog, Ramban where Additional Deputy Commissioner,Dr. Basharat Hussain, hoisted the National Flag and took salute from the contingents of Military band, CRPF, SSB, IRP, JKP, FPF, NCC squads and students’.Students and artists presented cultural programmes which was attended by senior civil, police and army officers besides prominent citizens.At Udhampur, Additional District Development Commissioner, Udhampur Ashok Kumar took Solute at the march past presented by the contingents drawn from J&K Police, CRPF Volunteer Home Guard, NCC, Civil Squad and Flag Troops of different educational Institutions besides Police Band, during full dress Rehearsal at Government PG Degree College Boys here today.The Full Dress Rehearsal commenced with the unfurling of national flag by the ADDC followed by signing of National Anthem.Senior officers of district administration and Police besides heads of various departments witnessed the full dress rehearsal.Cultural items depicting patriotism and rich Dogra culture were presented by the students and artists.ADDC called for ensuring maximum participation at Govt P.G College premises on Aug 15 in the Independence Day function.

At Kathua, full dress rehearsal for Independence Day was held at District Sports stadium, Kathua where Additional Deputy Commissioner, , Ghansham Singh unfurled the National flag and took salute at the march past presented by the contingents drawn from Police, CRPF, NCC boys and girls and tiny platoons from Government and Private schools.Rehearsal for theme based cultural programs depicting various government initiatives, tribute to freedom fighters and martyrs besides highlighting cultural heritage of the country was conducted on the occasion. Officers and officials of civil, and police administration besides school children and prominent citizens were present on the occasion.Similarly, the Tehsil headquarters organised full dress rehearsal wherein officers and officials besides large number of students of various government and private institutes participated in cultural programs.At Poonch, the event was held at sports Stadium Poonch where Additional Deputy Commissioner, Sheraz-Ul-Haq, unfurled the tricolor National Flag, inspected the parade and took salute at the march past presented by the contingents of JKP, JKAP, IRP, CRPF, BSF and bands of different security forces.At Doda, full dress rehearsal for Independence day was held at sports stadium Doda where Additional Deputy Commissioner,  Kishori Lal Sharma, after inspection of the parade and took salute at the march past by the contingents drawn from the  JKP, JKAP, SSB,  IRP, CRPF, FPF, NCC and school children.Senior officers and officials of police, army and district administration were present on the occasion.At Reasi, full dress rehearsal in preparation for the Independence Day was held in the district which saw participation from students, officers and officials of civil and police administration besides locals.ADC Rajinder Sharma hoisted the National Flag and took salute at the March Past presented by the contingents of students, Police, NCC cadets and para military forces.
