State government is sensitive towards labourers of the state and concerted efforts are being made for the welfare of the labourers. Bhartiya Mazdoor Sangh is an important and biggest union of labourers, which also took up their welfare and other issues regularly before State government.Industries Minister Bikram Singh was addressing the meeting of Bhartiya Mazdoor Sangh with senior officers of the State government ogranised by Labour and Employment department here today. He said that Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur has always given top priority to the matters of labourers and employees. He said that utmost preference was being given to the welfare of labourers and employees in the state. Bhartiya Mazdoor Sangh is an integral part of the state government's ideology and vision to develop Himachal Pradesh as a leading state. It should also represent and take up issues regarding every category of labourers and employees in the state.State President Bhartiya Mazdoor Sangh Rakesh Sharma presented vote of thanks and raised various demands and issues pertaining to labourers and employees before Industries Minister and senior officers and urged them to resolve them at earliest.ACS and Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Dr. Shrikant Baldi, ACS Labour and Employment Nisha Singh, Principal Secretary Finance Prabodh Saxena, Principal Secretary Transport Jagdish Sharma, Principal Secretary Education K.K.Pant, State Labour Commissioner Dr. S.S Guleria, senior officers of the state government and representatives of Bhartiya Mazdoor Sangh were also present among others in the meeting.
