To commarate the 550th Parkash Purb of Shri Guru Nanak Dev ji 550 plants would be planted in each Government technical Educational Institute of the State. The Technical Education and Tourism & Cultural Affairs Minister Charanjit Singh Channi launched this plantation drive from Government Polytechnic College Khunimajra.The Minister motivated the students and staff members to plant sapling and take care of it to make them trees. He also encouraged the students to have a clean environment around them. He alongwith faculty members and students planted a sapling in the campus. On this occasion Mr. Mohanbir Singh Additional Director Techinal Education, Mr. Rajeev Puri Principal Government Polytechnic College Khoonimajra and many prominent peresonalities of the area were also present.
