A presentation regarding Single Window Clearance System of Uttarakhand state was made here today before Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur.It was apprised during the presentation that over 100 investor's services have been notified under the Uttarakhand Single Window Right to Service Act, 2011 to facilitate the investors. The provision has been made in the Act for imposing penalty on officers responsible for any delay in the clearances.It was also shown that two tiers system for approval of industrial units were being adopted by the Uttarakhand Single Window which include in principle approvals and departmental approvals.While appreciating the procedure for speedy clearances for setting up of industrial units in Uttarakhand, Chief Minister said that Himachal Pradesh would also have a timeline for Single Window Clearance Authority for time bound clearances of different industrial units.Additional Chief Secretaries Dr. Shrikant Baldi, Ram Subhag Singh, Sanjay Gupta, Manoj Kumar and R.D. Dhiman, Principal Secretaries Prabodh Saxena, J.C. Sharma, K.K. Pant and Onkar Sharma, Additional Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Sanjay Kundu, Secretary, Finance Akshay Sood, Director Industries Hans Raj Sharma and other senior officers were present on the occasion.
