Local Government Department Minister  Braham Mohindera held meeting with newly appointed Chairman of Ludhiana Improvement Trust Sh Raman Bala Subramanium to take up the issues of Ludhiana Improvement Trust which have been unaddressed for a long time.While giving details over the telephone, Mr Raman said that Revenue generation for LIT was the prime focus of discussion. LGM directed officials to speed up the process of development and sale of properties. LIT Officials were directed to collect arrears and update data about the property owner.He said that cabinet minister appreciated the efforts of new Chairman in steps taken to check corruption and bring transparency in the working of Ludhiana Improvement Trust.He said that he have assured the minister that he will work with full dedication under his guidance and support and will develop LIT as a premier property management enterprise. He will focus on revenue generation and curb wasteful expenditure.Principal Secretary Local government department Sh. A Venuparsad, Executive Officer LIT Harpreet Singh and XEN Naveen Malhotra were also present in the meeting.
