Actor Akshay Kumar whose next film ‘Mission Mangal’ is going to clash with John Abraham starrer ‘Batla House’ on this independence day, has said that nobody should be blamed for clash of two or three films on same day because it’s an obvious thing.Akshay Kumar was interacting with the media at the trailer launch of ‘Mission Mangal’ along with his co-actors Vidya Balan, Taapsee Pannu, Nithya Menen, Kirti Kulhari, Sharman Joshi, Sonakshi Sinha and film’s director Jagan Shakti on Thursday in Mumbai.Talking about ‘Mission Mangal’s clash with John Abraham’s ‘Batla House’ and Prabhas starrer ‘Saaho’, Akshay said, “At the trailer launch of ‘Batla House’, John (Abraham) said really nice line that ‘make some noise for desi boys’ (line from film - Desi Boyz). There are 52 weeks in one year and we release around 180-190 films every year so, if two or three films will not release on a same day then what should we do? In India, we release 30-40 Hollywood films every year so obviously, there will be a lot of congestion. In future, I feel we will release 4-5 films on a same day so, it is not surprising and we should not blame anybody. We should go along with it and that’s it.”Akshay Kumar has pledged to donate Rs 1 crore each to the CM Relief Fund & for Kaziranga Park rescue after Assam encountered flooding.
Talking about it, Akshay said, “See… I have a lot of money. Few days ago, I saw a picture where a lady was drowning in the water with her kid in that flood situation and I thought that it can happen with me or my family as well. I don’t just want to react on the incident by tweeting about it. I urge everyone to donate money as per their capacity. I feel people shouldn’t just express themselves on social media platforms and instead of that, they should react to it by doing something about it.”Reacting on Kangana Ranaut’s fight with a journalist at the promotional event of ‘Judgemental Hai Kya’, Akshay said, “Like Sidharth (Malhtora) said at an event that, actors and media share really deep relationship. It’s like a relationship between husband and wife so, some kind of banter will keep on happening between us but I hope that this issue will be resolved because film industry needs support of media and vice versa. We promote our films through media and it’s very unfortunate so, I hope it gets solved. I don’t have much knowledge about it as I was in London since last 20 days."Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Mission Mangal’ also features Vidya Balan, Taapsee Pannu, Sonakshi Sinha, Sharman Joshi, Kirti Kulhari and Nithya Menen. It will release on August 15.
