Governor Acharya Devvrat said that positive cooperation for conservation of nature is the true worship in the divine arrangement made by God. This was stated by Governor during his address on inauguration ceremony of the 25th Annual Yoga Sadhana Camp at Kathni in Solan district today.He said that in order to attain a higher goal in life, it is essential that food, thoughts, behaviour and goals are pure, only then one could achieve all goals in life. He said that by following principles of Patanjali, one could gradually achieve the higher goals of life.Governor said that the whole world is facing global warming problem today resulting in the incidences of extreme rainfall and sometimes famine in different parts of the world.He said that excessive use of chemicals and fertilizers in agriculture is also responsible to a large extent for global warming. The uninterrupted use of chemicals and pesticides has destroyed the original nature of soli, which has threatened the existence of the whole nature. He said that natural farming practices should be adopted world over to ensure quality food products for human beings.
He said that natural farming is the only alternative available with the man for all-round growth of the system.Governor Acharya Devvrat also announced Rs. 2 lakh for propagation of yoga.On this occasion, Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Dr. Rajiv Saizal said that simple life and conduct is true form of Yoga as a simple person could easily reach higher goals in life.He said that natural farming is spreading in the state like a silent revolution and urged farmers of the state to take advantage of natural farming technique. He said that the farmers' income will be doubled by adopting natural farming as a result of which health of the common man will also be better.On this occasion, Swami Yogtirth said that yoga is necessary for the change of mind and soul of a person and Yoga practices should be taught right from the very childhood. Vice Chancellor of Dr. Yashwant Singh Parmar Horticulture and Forestry University, Nauni Dr. Parvinder Kaushal and Vice Chancellor of Shoolini University Prof. P.K. Khosla also shared their views.Additional District Magistrate Solan Vivek Chandel, SDM Rohit Rathore and other dignitaries were also present on the occasion.
