Around 2076 demands and complaints were received during the Jan Manch organised in eleven districts of the state on Sunday, except Kinnaur district where this programme will be organised on 14 July.The state government has received more than 34 thousand demands and complaints through the Jan Manch organised so far, out of which most of the cases have been settled.
Una district
In Una district, the Jan Manch was organised at Kuthar Khurd of Una Sadar Assembly constituency which was chaired by Deputy Speaker HP Vidhan Sabha Hans Raj. As many as 113 complaints were received during the Jan Manch and most of them were disposed off on the spot. During the pre-Jan Manch activities, 827 certificates were issued in the district.Deputy Speaker distributed free gas connections to 92 families and 20 baby care kits to mothers of new born babies. Apart from this, 40 youth were provided information regarding swavlamban yojana of the state government.State BJP President Satpal Singh Satti, MLA Satpal Singh Raizada, Chairman APMC Balbir Singh Bagga were also present on the occasion.
Mandi District
Under the Chairmanship of Irrigation and Public Health Minister Mahender Singh Thakur Jan Manch was organised at Larbharol in Jogindernagar constituency of Mandi District where 280 applications were received whereas 46 cases were received during Pre Jan Manch. 81 complaints were disposed off on the spot.On this occasion, Mahender Singh Thakur said that Rs. 1688 crore scheme has been approved for the state for horticulture sector. The clusters of panchayats will be formed in different part of state for development of horticulture under this scheme. Asian Development Bank has released the first instalment of Rs. 70 crore. Under the scheme, 27 blocks of lower areas of Himachal have been included out of which five blocks are from Mandi district. The farmers will be given high quality plants at cheaper rates. The department will assume irrigation and fencing facility to the farmers and the collection centers will also be constructed in the villages for procurement of fruits.He distributed 50 LPG gas connections under Grihini Suvidha Yojana and various certificates to the beneficiaries on the occasion.MP Ram Swaroop Sharma and local MLA Prakash Rana were also present during the programme.
Shimla District
While presiding over the Jan Manch in remote area Kupvi of Shimla district, Education Minister Suresh Bhardwaj directed to complete the lift drinking water scheme at the earliest, to be constructed at cost of Rs. 3 crore 95 lakh in Kupvi area. He assured that the HRTC bus service will be started soon Dhar-Channa and also instructed to run Shimla-Mashot bus service regularly.Suresh Bhardwaj said that the vacant posts of teachers in Kupvi Tehsil will soon be filled through SMC. He also assured to fill vacancies in the health department. He directed the electricity department to change the old electricity poles in the area and the Public Works Department to repair the roads.All the 85 public grievances received in today's Jan Manch were redressed on the spot. 79 demand letters were also presented by the people on this occasion.
Kullu district
In Kullu district, the Jan Manch was organised at Nirmand developmental block which was presided over Agriculture and Tribal Development Minister Dr. Ram Lal Markanda. As many as 145 complaints and demands were received during the programme and most of the demands and complaints were disposed off on the spot.On this occasion, the minister said that the state government will provide 100 percent subsidy on collective solar drip irrigation schemes. For personal solar drip irrigation scheme, a provision of providing 90 percent subsidy has been made. The government has made budget provision of Rs. 45 crore for natural farming during this financial year farmers will be provided 25 percent subsidy for purchasing indigenous cows and other necessary items under this scheme.Dr. Markanda distributed 168 gas connections to beneficiaries and distributed fixed deposit documents to 13 girls under 'Beti Hai Anmol Yojana'. In health camp organised on the occasion, around 120 people availed the facility of free health checkup. Apart from this Revenue department distributed various certificates to the people. MLA Kishori Lal Sagar was also present on this occasion.
District Chamba
In District Chamba, Jan Manch was organized at Bharmour, which was presided over by Health Minister Vipin Singh Parmar. Around 271 complaints and demands were received and most of the cases were disposed off on the occasion.Shri Parmar said that the government is filling vacant posts of doctors and other staff on priority basis, in which remote areas are being given priority. The primary and health sub-centers of the state are being upgraded in a phased manner. Notification for conversion of 65 primary health centers and sub-health centers into health and wellness centers has been issued for District Chamba.The Health Minister also distributed free gas connections under Grihini Suvidha Yojana and the fixed deposits under Beti Hai Anmol Yojana to the beneficiaries. He also provided documents to selected candidates under the Chief Minister's Housing scheme.MLA Zia Lal Kapoor and Bikram Singh Jaryal were also present on the occasion.
Hamirpur district
In Hamirpur district, the Jan Manch was organised at Patlandar in Sujanpur assembly constituency under the chairmanship of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister Virender Kanwar. As many as 102 complaints were received and most of them were disposed off on the spot.Virender Kanwar said that the State government is committed to provide facilities like house, drinking water and electricity supply, toilets, gas connections on the analogy of central government. The government has identified two lakh families for providing these facilities so that their living standard could be improved.He distributed free gas connections to 74 beneficiaries and various certificates on this occasion.Former Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal and Vice Chairman of Himachal Road Transport Corporation Vijay Agnihotri were also present on the occasion.
District kangra
Industries Minister Bikram Singh Thakur presided over the Jan Manch organized at Darini of Shahpur assembly constituency in Kangra district. Here, 116 complaints were received out of which 70 were disposed off on the spot.Bikram Thakur said that Chief Minister Swavalamban Yojana is proving to be a boon for youth. Under this scheme the age limit has been increased from 35 to 45 years to benefit maximum youth. He called upon the youth to take benefit the most of the scheme.The Industries Minister distributed free gas connection under Grihini Suvidha Yojana and the fixed deposits to the beneficiaries.Speaking on the occasion, Urban Development Minister Sarveen Chaudhary said that she is working with full commitment to connect Shahpur Assembly constituency with roads. She said that Rs. 80 lakh have been sanctioned for the building of sub-tehsil Darini, the work on which will be started soon. Apart from this, the construction work of science lab in the Government Senior Secondary School, Darini will be started soon.
Lahaul-Spiti District
Forest and Transport Minister Govind Thakur presided over the Jan Manch programme at Kaza in district Lahaul- Spiti. As many as142 public grievances were received from 13 panchayats during the programme out of which 109 complaints were disposed of on the spot.The Forest Minister said that the state government is working specifically to promote tourism in Lahaul-Spiti. He said that people should realise that while encouraging the tourism, it is must to preserve our civilization and culture.He said that in order to provide better transport facility to the people of the district and the visiting tourists, the case of maintenance of Samdo-Kaza-Grafu road will be taken up with the government of India.The Forest Minister distributed free gas connections under Grihini Suvidha Yojana and fixed deposits under Beti Hai Anmol Scheme to the beneficiaries. The Department of Health and Ayurveda organised health camps and also distributed medicines free of cost.
Sirmaur District
While presiding over the Jan Manch at Bogdhar village of Sangrah Developmental Block in District Sirmaur, Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Dr. Rajiv Saizal directed the Chief Medical officer to inspect the fake medical practitioners working in some villages of the district. He said that strict action should be taken against those doctors who do not have degree to work in the medical field according to the medical standards.He said that most of the cases in Jan Manch programme were related to electricity, water, health, roads, education which will be addressed on the priority basis.As many as 199 cases were received during the Jan Manch out of which 80 cases were disposed off on the spot and the Minister directed to resolve the remaining complaints with-in 15 days.
District Bilaspur
In Bilaspur district, the Jan Manch was organised at Malyawar in Bilaspur Sadar Assembly constituency which was chaired by Vice-Chairman, Planning Board Ramesh Dhwala. As many as 318 applications were received during Jan Manch while 238 applications were uploaded in the pre-Jan Manch period. In today's Jan Manch 184 grievances were disposed off on the occasion.Ramesh Dhwala said that the state government aims at improving the life standard of people by addressing their grievances through Jan Manch. He said that government has provided various powers to panchayti raj institutions. The panchayat representatives should coordinate with the officials to make shelf of schemes for including ambulance roads on priority basis.MLA Subhash Thakur also shared his views.
District Solan
Chief Whip Narender Bargta said that till date more than 34,000 demands and complaints have been presented to the state government through Jan Manch, and most of them have been disposed off. He said that 336 health camps were organized, 34875 certificates were issued and 418 toilets were sanctioned during this period in this programme. Narender Bargta was presiding over the Jan Manch at Ramsahar under Nalagarh Assembly constituency in Solan district.161 grievances were presented during Jan Manch out of which 107 were disposed off on the spot. 186 Himachali certificates, various other kinds of certificates were issued today during the occasion.Narender Bragta directed the officials to make sure that the complaints received during Jan Manch are disposed off within the given time period. He said that the complaints received during Jan Manch are also being monitored directly by Chief Minister and Chief Secretary and this responsibility will also be given to Deputy Commissioners.MLA Lakhvinder Rana was also present on the occasion.
